We’re looking forward to getting the weekend started a little early with “Match Game ’12” tonight, and the massive throwback party that will accompany this spinoff of the 70s game show.

Party-going contestants will try to match celebrity answers to fill-in-the-blank questions, and we’re definitely looking forward to watching this particular lineup of celebs (Jon Benjamin, Wyatt Cenac, Rachel Feinstein, Jon Glaser, Seth Meyers, Matt Oberg and Kristen Schall) partake in the show. Funds raised will go toward 826NYC, a nonprofit that supports children’s literacy…and to top it off, Viacom will match all proceeds from the night.

If you’re in NYC, maybe you’ll join us? Tickets are $25, and some are still available here. Will be a good time, and of course, it’s for a good cause.

The event is the latest charitable endeavor from the “Give A Sh*t Committee,” a homespun, nonprofit organization formed by some pretty cool employees from Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land and VH1.
