With more than 300 million households worldwide awaiting the increasingly global Kids’ Choice Awards, failure’s not an option for 2012 host Will Smith. So when he gets a call from a “creepy hater voice” telling him he’s going to fail, celebrities from around the world join forces to help our superstar host on his mission to make it to the show – and to become “the best host ever.”
Check out the promos to watch Will Smith get transported to the Kids’ Choice Headquarters in the UK and Australia…and the “Quartier Generale Del Kids’ Choice” in Italy, of course, where he’s catapulted in a human slingshot.
While Riccardo assisted in Italy, moving to the UK, British-Irish boy band One Direction beeps in on call waiting to tell him to take a seat and hold on tight while they transport him. See below.
And in Australia, musical comedy duo Luke & Wyatt tell Will they’ve got his back. See below.
Within hours of airing live in the United States and Canada, the show will roll out in additional international markets, providing kids around the world with the opportunity to tune into their local Nickelodeon channel to enjoy the show faster than ever.
In many international markets, the 2012 KCAs will feature country-specific award categories and nominees, such as Nickelodeon’s Italia’s Favorite Star and Nickelodeon UK’s Favorite Show.
Voting for the 2012 KCAs will span over six continents across 13 localized voting sites in 11 different languages, so virtually everywhere, kids will have a chance to decide who takes home a coveted blimp.
