As far as the show itself goes, here’s a sneak peak….host Kelly Osbourne wowed with no less than eight wardrobe changes, ranging from a floor-length black and gold sequin gown to a skintight superhero dress, complete with cape. She was outdone only by “trophy-girl” and RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 4 finalist Willam Belli, who pulled off 11 different outfits over the course of the evening.
Josh Hutcherson joked about how happy he is to be in a film people are actually watching, as he humbly accepted the Next Mega-Star award for his role in The Hunger Games. Osbourne herself won the Beyond Style Award with androgynous model Andrej Pejić. Osbourne dedicated the award to Pejić, applauding him for revolutionizing both the modeling business and the world of fashion by successfully bending gender roles.
In the night’s most energetic and eye-popping performance, a neon-clad Rye Rye got the crowd pumping with her signature club sound and fierce dance moves. Adam Lambert closed out the show with a rousing performance of the title track off his new album, Trespassing, as a sea of confetti rained down on the crowd.
