First Lady Michelle Obama, SpongeBob Play Football for ‘Let’s Move! London’

In a move toward getting more kids healthy and active, and solving the problem of childhood obesity, The Big Help, Nickelodeon’s pro-social campaign for kids, teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative — on and off the field — to put on Let’s Move! London.

With sports stations, musical performances and appearances by David Beckham, Olympic and Paralympic legends, Manchester United greats,  members of the U.S. Track and Field Team, among others, the event got more than 1,000 children moving — a group composed of American military children and American and British students. The First Lady took part in the festivities on the soccer field, as did our own SpongeBob. His goalie skills, however, were no match for her athleticism. See for yourself in the video below.
