Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles executive producer Ciro Nieli and original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman visited Spain last month to attend FICOMIC, Barcelona’s International Comic Fair 2013!
Before heading to Barcelona, the duo – along with Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume characters – made a stop in Madrid for a number of press and promotional activities and meet & greets with Spanish fans.

Our heroes in a half-shell, or Tortugas Ninja as they’re known in Spain – along with Nieli and Eastman, of course – were able to take a quick break from their busy schedule to spread the “Turtle Power” and take in the sites with stops at some of Madrid’s most famous monuments, including the Plaza de España and Plaza Mayor.
After a Turtle-tastic two days in Madrid, Nieli and and Eastman boarded a train to Barcelona to attend FICOMIC, Barcelona’s International Comic Fair 2013. At the convention, the pair presented a panel on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesto a crowded room of fans, bloggers, and press, conducted a How-To Workshop with aspiring young animators, participated in multiple signing events, and met with as many of their Spanish fans as possible.
