CEO Philippe Dauman spent Monday morning at Viacom’s Paris office, hearing the stories of local employees and expressing his support of the French people after the November 13 attacks that struck the capital. Thankfully, no Viacom employees were injured in the attacks. Employees of MTV France and Nickelodeon France, as well as the entire French Viacom International Media Network team, kept the channels running without interruption during the very difficult period immediately following the attacks.
Dauman, whose parents emigrated from France to the United States, addressed employees in French, expressing his gratitude and the support of Viacom colleagues in the U.S. and around the world.
“The French employees really appreciated this unexpected visit from Philippe and all the messages of support and solidarity from our colleagues all over the world,” said Mélanie Collombet, who works at the Paris office.
