What’s stronger than turtle power? The ability to remove waste from our environment for recycling – which is exactly what the Paramount Green Team did recently in an awesome promo for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

A couple of days before the turtles claimed the top box office spot for the weekend of June 3, the Green Team invited employees to Hollywood’s Sherry Lansing Theatre for a screening of the famous foursome’s latest Earth-saving adventures. But it wasn’t free. The price of admission? A stack of your formerly garbage-bound home documents for shredding.

Employees who showed up a bit early to drop their documents chowed down on turtle bites and sipped beers before the screening started.

The Paramount Green Team, who recently helped remove more than 1,000 pounds of E-waste from the studio’s lot, is part of a larger effort to ensure that Hollywood follows the latest standards of sustainability, in production and elsewhere.
