World Turtle Day was May 23. You may have missed it, but the talent behind the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows sure didn’t. To promote both the June 2 film release and the global focus on everyone’s favorite shelled reptiles, Director Dave Green, actor Will Arnett (who returns to play Vernon Fenwick in the film), and producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller stood in the clanging, adrenaline-pumping NASDAQ studio in Times Square as the trading day clock ticked toward its 4 p.m. close.
“What better way to celebrate the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows than today, on World Turtle Day, and right here in Times Square,” said NASDAQ’s Rob Phillips. “Paramount and Nickelodeon have developed and produced multiple innovative entertainment properties and characters, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We are honored to have Viacom as part of the NASDAQ family.”
As a strong member of that NASDAQ clan, Viacom (which is traded on the exchange under the VIA and VIAB tickers), and its various properties make frequent trips across Times Square to celebrate many of our largest priorities, with the most recent being TV Land’s Lopez in April.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtels: Out of the Shadows will hit theaters this Friday, June 3. Check out the trailer below and get your tickets now.
