Introduce yourself – tell me a little bit about yourself, how you got started at Viacom and your interests (in both work and life).

I’ve been at Viacom since 2012, starting with the International Digital Media Operations team, and then transitioning to DM Production. Currently I mainly support the MTV brand internationally as a Digital Video Production Manager. Outside of work I obviously enjoy creating videos and the process that goes into it, and I’m also getting into photography. When I get the chance I head to the Adirondacks in upstate New York to snowboard.

What’s a typical day like for you?

This is a cliché answer, but there really isn’t a typical day for me. I might be in the edit room producing short form videos for the latest season of Geordie Shore, or creating retrospective video packages from the past 20 years of MTV EMAs, or helping set up a studio for a video shoot with the communications team.

What’s the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is being on the cutting edge of technology, and working and collaborating with the best and most innovative people in the industry from around the world.

What’s your key to success?

My key to success is always having a positive attitude, this definitely helps me during stressful situations and makes it easier to communicate and get work done.

Where can we find you on the weekends?

On the weekend you will usually find me and my wife running after our 2 1/2-year-old twins, Victoria and Alexander. And when I get the chance (aka when it’s nap time) I’ll play a quick round of golf.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

“Figure out what you love to do, then figure out how to get someone to pay you to do it.”

If you could only use one of these platforms, which would it be: Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram?

Twitter – I Iike the fast flow of information and it’s in bite-sized pieces.

Last book you read or movie you watched?

It only took me two months, but I finally saw the new Star Wars movie this past weekend.
