Behind-the-Scenes With Viacom Employee MTV VMA Ticket Winner

Nicole Buccheri works as a legal operations coordinator for Viacom’s corporate legal department, specializing in billing and finance. Buccheri says she likes working with numbers, and has found a niche in the company analyzing legal vendor rates and drafting cost reports for management.

In August, Buccheri switched gears and witnessed life at Viacom through a different lens, as the latest winner of Viacom’s sweepstakes that sends employees to tentpole award shows. She won two tickets to attend the pinnacle of pop culture: the MTV VMAs, held this year at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Viacom Employee Lottery Winner Michele Graczyk Attends Spike’s Ink Master Live: Here’s What Went Down

Spike’s hit series, Ink Masters, is the ultimate test of endurance, creativity, and talent. Each week, tattoo artists compete to win $100,000 and the coveted crown of Ink Master. They’re challenged to deviate from their traditional style, tattooing live on brave volunteers otherwise known as “human canvasses.”  The season culminates with a sensational finale that includes a grueling 24-hour tattoo session, live voting via Twitter, and plenty of audience commentary.

Viacom’s employee lottery series brought tattoo enthusiast and longtime Ink Master fan Michele Graczyk to the season eight finale on Tuesday, Dec. 6. She watched as Ryan Ashley Malarkey became the first female Ink Master in Spike history.

Love, Family, and Pride: What Viacom Employee Lottery Winner Joseph Stefan Learned From the Trailblazer Honors

Viacom is holding a series of employee lotteries for our summer award shows. The first winner, Shannon Griffith, flew from California to Tennessee for the CMT Awards, and was enamored with Nashville’s festive atmosphere, as well as the unpredictable ceremony.

Our next show, Logo’s annual Trailblazer Honors, celebrated harbingers of social change in the LGBT community. This year’s ceremony followed an unprecedented, incomprehensible attack on the LGBT community. Logo honored the 49 victims of Orlando’s massacre throughout its ceremony, and reaffirmed its commitment to fighting intolerance.

Our latest winner, Viacom’s coordinator for content distribution sales and business development, Joseph Stefan, witnessed the momentous occasion at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine. I spoke to Stefan about the powerful experience.
